CONSTRUCTION :
Conductor: Fine Wire Strands of Plain Annealed Copper, Insulation: PVC, Laying UP: Cores twisted together in Layers, Core Identification: Number Coded, Black Cores with White Numbers + Green/Yellow, Screen: Tinned Copper Wire Braid, Insulation: Melinex Tape, Sheath: PVC Grey.
APPLICATION :
Designed to avoid external high frequency interference, LiYCY cables ensure exact pulse transmission. These cables are used for control and signalling and are ideal where cables of the smallest dimension are required.
TECHNICAL DATA :
Voltage: 300/500V. Test Voltage: 3000V. Operating Temperature Range: -5oC to +80oC flexing. -30o to +80oC fixed. Minimum Bending Radius: 20 x Cable diameter.
RELEVANT STANDARDS :
Conductor: Stranding VDE 0275 Class 5. Core Identification to VDE 0293. Sheath: VDE 0250 Part 405.
CORE IDENTIFICATION :
Number coded cables are manufactured with black cores and white numbers and integral green/yellow in outer layer. (No green/yellow in Two Core).
ADDITIONS TO RANGE :
LiYCY are also available in colour coded 0.14mm2 -0.5mm2 to DIN47100. 0.5mm2 and above to VDE 0293, 2 to 5 cores. 5 cores + German standard Colour Code German Standard Colour Code LiYCY is also available with individual Screen Cores Ref. PIMF CY. In addition Double Braid Screen Ref. CYCY.
